We have just had our last day at the Angkor Temple complex in Cambodia, and tomorrow we start on three days cycling to the Thai border. For anyone not sure what Angkor is, think Lara Croft Tomb Raider, and you'll get the idea. For anyone who doesn't know what Tomb Raider is, ask your kids. Quite an amazing place, especially when you think that London, always Britain's biggest and most important city, had a population of around 40,000 in the year 1200, when Angkor had in excess of one million and was in its heyday! How things have changed.

Once we get back into Thailand, we are having four days down on the coast, doing nothing much except lazing about, before we return to Bangkok, and our flight back to Manchester on January 28th. I trust all the snow and ice will have gone by then.

We'll be home before we know it.
